Tucked into 2nd Street in Floresville, Cerrito Bar & Grill has become the kind of place where regulars call ahead just to make sure their favorite table is open. It's a family kitchen at heart — the flour and corn tortillas are made in-house, the salsas are made fresh, and the molcajetes come out sizzling straight to your table in a hot stone bowl of tomatillo sauce and tender meats.

Whether you're stopping in for breakfast tacos before the Peanut Festival parade or settling in for a Friday-night fajita platter with a cold beer from the bar, the menu leans into real Tex-Mex comfort: sizzling fajitas mixta, whole fried mojarra, carne guisada, crispy flautas, and burritos stacked the way they should be. Guests keep coming back for the friendly servers who check in without hovering, and for portions generous enough that "we had six different dishes and they were all great" isn't an exaggeration — it's a Tuesday night.

Cerrito Bar & Grill is open every day from 7 AM to 10 PM, pouring drinks, firing up the grill, and keeping the tortilla press warm for whoever walks through the door.
